The Tribe of Ephraim

I do believe that Ephraim was taken into Assyria, only to come to Kerala in India. Bene Ephraim of Andhra Pradesh is in close proximity to that of the Syrian Christians of Kerala, geographically.

There is no question that Jewish people lived in Kerala since antiquity and were prostelysed to by Thomas the apostle. However, are they Ephraim, or some other group?
