In Genesis 6:4 Genesis does not use the word Nephilim. It ACTUALLY says: "There were GIANTS in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." - go read it for yourself AND THEN PLEASE CORRECT THIS QUOTE AS YOU ARE ADDING WORDS TO THE BIBLE.)
Giants simply means tyrants, or powerful ruthless leaders/kings who just TAKE what they want. Look it up in the Hebrew language (Strongs Exhaustive Corcordance of the Bible).
We are the Sons of (the living) God as any minister would teach in church when reading from the New Testament. However it is possible that the daughters of men where the daughters of Cain who we were forbidden from mixing with those of Adam because the resultant children would become ruthless, evil tyrants - Giants !
