Melchizedek, Simply a Story

This is a mythological story only, and so far we have no proof of Abraham existing at all.
Only the Jewish religion can tell us what this myth refers to.

Much of the Old Testament is a collection of mythological stories, much like King Arthur and the Greek heroes.

Every bit of history can be a myth, or it can be true. There are religions all over the world that believe in many different things according to their culture. Everybody can believe what they want. If their is a God who wrote the bible and if the bible is true, we can pick and choose what we want. It is like buffet style Christianity.

Everybody has their own belief in whatever they want to believe in. The only way anybody will believe what God wrote is if God Himself tells them face to face. Then we don't need faith do we?

Go right ahead and believe what your heart tells you is true. We will all know when we die. So, do as the Bible tells you to do, eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die. I wonder if God knows about this.

Prophecy proves the Old Testament is an accurate testimony.

Genesis 12:12 - Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed.

The nation of Israel has existed for some 3,500 years; and Abraham was born in 1992 B.C./B.C.E., almost 500 years before, in a city called UR.

Egyptian king Pepi II had trade with Abraham's UR and Pepi II also had trade with Sodom. Both Old Testament cities are found in the Bible.

Pepi II, Genesis 12:17, was plagued by God and the Memphis dynasty fell. (Check Egyptian chronology vs. Bible chronology for the facts.)

The prophet Ezekiel (Ezekiel 36:24)stated some 2500 years ago the Jews from around the world would come home. May 14,1948 this prophecy was fulfilled.

Ezekiel 38:5 lists Iran/Persia being Israel's major enemy aligned with Russia, Turkey,Ethiopia
-Sudan and Libya. Libya rockets have been shipped to Sudan and the Sudanese have given these rockets to Iran. Ezekiel was right about this future war.

The Old Testament is no myth for those who search for the truth.
